  1. Symatec C++ 6.11 Library Sources quick fix instructions

  3. The files provided here are:
  4.  
  5. srcread.1st  - Patch navigator text file (this file).
  6.  
  7. srcupdat.txt - Library Source changes in 6.11
  8.  
  9. srcupdat.bat - The batch file that will patch your current 
  10.                SC Run Time Library Sources.
  11.                NOTE: Run this batch file from your \SC directory.
  12.  
  13. src611.exe   - Self extracting zip file that contains all that is necessary 
  14.                to make this patch. NOTE: Run this first
  15.  
  16. cl-611.rtp   - The file that contains the patch for clibs
  17. dsio-611.rtp - The file that contains the patch for dos386
  18. wn-611.rtp   - The file that contains the patch for win32
  19. restwin.rtp  - The file that contains the patch for win32 base dir
  20.  
  21. srcpatch.exe - Utility to patch the files.
  22.  
  23. To patch:
  24. 1. Copy the SRC611.exe file down to your \SC directory and 
  25.        change directory to \SC.
  26. 2. Type "SRC611" - this will expand all necessary files.
  27. 3. Type "SRCupdat"  - this will run the batch file that will patch the libraries
  28.    to Professional version 6.11 only. It will clean up all the unneeded patch files.
